This study aims to analyze the principal's strategies in developing a religious culture through habituation, role modeling, and the integration of Islamic values into general subjects at MA Al-Irsyad Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The participants consisted of the principal, vice principal, Islamic education teachers, general subject teachers, homeroom teachers, and selected students using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The trustworthiness of the data was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation as well as member checking. The findings indicate that the principal developed a religious culture through three main strategies: continuous habituation of religious activities, exemplary behavior demonstrated by the principal and teachers, and the integration of Islamic values into general subjects. These strategies complement one another in internalizing Islamic values and fostering students' religious character. Although several challenges were identified, including differences in students' backgrounds, discipline, limited facilities, and inconsistent participation among school members, these obstacles were addressed through coordination, mentoring, and continuous evaluation. The study concludes that integrated principal leadership plays a crucial role in establishing a sustainable religious culture and strengthening students' religious character within the madrasah.
